2024 Scholarship Opportunities
For more than 30 years, Teachers Federal Credit Union has awarded annual scholarships to high school students embarking on their journey of continuous learning. In support of our commitment to making the pursuit of higher education more attainable, we are delighted to announce the availability of fifteen $2,500 scholarships to assist in the pursuit of higher education.
Thank you for your interest in the Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship Program. Applications for 2024 scholarships are now closed. Winners of the 2024 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship and the 2024 Robert G. Allen Scholarship will be notified by April 15, 2024.

2024 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Teachers is proud to offer the Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship to support student members embarking on their continuous learning and success journey. Founded by a group of educators, Teachers reaffirms its commitment to education by ensuring that more students have the resources to reach their academic goals. This scholarship is awarded annually to 10 graduating high school seniors.
To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
• Graduating from high school in the spring of 2024
• GPA of at least 3.5
• Attending an accredited college or trade school in the fall of 2024
• A Teachers FCU member in good standing with a savings and checking account

2024 Robert G. Allen Scholarship
The Robert G. Allen Scholarship honors the former CEO of Teachers and is dedicated to his years of service to the organization. This scholarship is awarded annually to 5 students who are attending an accredited college, university, or trade school as full-time students within Nassau and Suffolk County on Long Island.
To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
• Graduating from high school in the spring of 2024
• GPA of at least 3.5
• Attending an accredited college or trade school located in Nassau or Suffolk County in the fall of 2024
• A Teachers FCU member in good standing with a savings and checking account

2024 New York Credit Union Scholarship
The New York Credit Union Association awards scholarships to be paid jointly to the student and educational institution. There will be no exceptions. The Funds may be used towards tuition, room and board, books, school supplies, etc.
The applicant must be a member in good standing of a participating New York credit union who meets all of the following criteria:
• The member is a college-bound high school senior at the time of application
• The member is attending college for the first time in the fall of 2024
• The member will be enrolled in either a two- or four-year accredited educational institution
• The member agrees to use any scholarship funds awarded by January 31, 2025, at an accredited educational institution only.

Teachers Federal Credit Union (“Teachers”) Employees, Board Members, and immediate family members of employees or volunteers are not eligible to receive the 2024 Teachers Federal Credit Union Scholarship or the 2024 Robert G. Allen Scholarship. Immediate family members include but are not limited to: spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether by current marriage, past marriage, adoption, or as in-laws.
